Russia and South Korea will hold joint study of the Northern Sea Route

Russian-Korean research center will be opened in Vladivistok in Summer 2015 for projects in the sphere of shipbuilding, navigation and the study of the Arctic.

The center will be created by the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University and Korean Maritime Institute. The study of the Northern Sea Route and possibilities of its usage will become the first joint project of the Russian-Korean center international team.
